Composer Michael Dolese

Michael has been informally composing for many years creating pieces and sketches with an improvisatory flare and exciting energy, but has begun pursuing a more serious voice.

Michael has written pieces for percussion ensemble, Marimba duos with mixed instruments, and other works primarily based in some sort of percussive element. Most of his influences as a composer include jazz pianists like Bill Evans or Tigran Hamasyan, but mixed with a more groove oriented feel of the music of Steel Band music from Trinidad and Tobago. Michael has worked as a composer and as an arranger and all of his compositions can be purchased on his store linked on this website.
