This arrangement of Toto’s Yacht Rock classic “Africa” is a popular arrangement that I wrote for the University of Arizona Steel Band when I was a Teaching Assistant and ran the group. This arrangement is high energy and features all original aspects of the piece by Toto. This arrangment has one challenging lick for the Tenors and Double Tenors, but other than that this should be a fun tune for younger college steel programs or medium to advanced high school pan groups.
