Island Dance
Island Dance is inspired by a family vacation that Dolese took to Puerto Rico in 2018. The relaxing scenery and carefree time spent with family inspired this fun and catchy marimba feature for the intermediate to advanced marimbist looking for a demanding marimba part with percussion ensemble accompaniment. This piece would be a great fit for Junior or Senior percussion recitals as a fun closer or would fit perfectly onto a percussion ensemble concert. This piece features accompaniment by three additional percussionists including Timpani, Vibraphone, and Drumset. The timpanist will double on triangle and the drumset player will double on glockenspiel.
